What is Parasailing?

Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, is a water sport that involves being towed behind a boat while attached to a parasail. The parasail resembles a parachute and is attached to a harness that the rider parasailing florida  wears. As the boat speeds up, the parasail fills with air and lifts the rider into the air, allowing them to soar high above the water.

The History of Parasailing

Parasailing has been around for over 50 years and was first invented by Pierre-Marcel Lemoigne in 1961. The first parasail was made out of a bed sheet and a few ropes, and Lemoigne tested his invention by being towed behind a car.
